Privacy policy
Last updated . We collect only what we need to answer you.
The rule
Enabling Access is a student-led project in Miami, Florida. This policy covers enablingaccess.org and mail sent to hello@enablingaccess.org. We do not sell personal information. We do not run ads or build marketing profiles.
What we collect
Email you send
If you write to us, we receive your email address and whatever you put in the message. Send only what we need: a question, or the measurements and notes required for a device. You do not need to send a full medical record, an insurance number, or someone else's information.
On this website
There is no account and no analytics. The only value stored in your browser is ea-notice, set to "1" after you press Got it on the note at the bottom of the page. It stays on your device. We never receive it. Details are in the cookie policy.
Hosting logs
The company that hosts the site may keep short connection logs, such as an IP address, a time, and the page requested, so the site stays online and can be defended against abuse. We do not use those logs to identify you.
What we do not collect
- No tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or analytics.
- No social-media pixels on these pages.
- No information we do not need in order to reply or to make a device you asked for.
Who else sees it
We share a detail only when the work requires it: with The Miami Project or the Christine E. Lynn Rehabilitation Center when a device request is handled with them, or if the law requires disclosure. Instagram, if you follow the link in the footer, is a separate site with its own policy.
We keep a message only while we are answering it or finishing a device, unless the law requires longer. Then we delete it or remove what identifies you.
Your choices
You can ask what we hold, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email hello@enablingaccess.org with the subject "Privacy request". We aim to answer within 30 days. The public site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information through it.
